  • We have a Septic tank so please don’t put harsh chemicals down the drains or lou. It is Town water.

  • The red, yellow and green main bins are up near the start of the driveway. If you are here longer term the bins go out on a Tuesday, in Wednesday afternoon.

  • Mid stay cleaning is available on request. 

  • Close all windows if the aircon is on.

  • Please empty the coffee pod machine often to stop the door jamming.

  • When leaving the house please switch off all lights, aircons, appliances and BBQ gas bottle, close all windows and lock doors. Rain falls horizontally here!

  • Safe travels and thank you for staying.

Safety

​

  • Farms can be dangerous places. The farm and all sheds are off limits. Please stay in the house yard. 

  • First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher and fire blanket (and mozzie spray) are in the top shelf of the pantry.

  • Do not touch any fences. Some are electrified.

  • There are different types of mozzie repellants in the pantry. Electric, coil and spray.

  • You are unlikely to see a snake but be mindful when walking.

  • See below for more safety information.

 

Devices

Rodney the Robot & Vac​

 

  • Rodney is the robot vac. Please look after him because he is the only one in our house who helps without complaining. 

  • The Normal Vacumn cleaner lives near the laundry next to the hot water service. Please check if she needs emptying.

  • Rodney's Directions. He is an old fellow so not WiFi enabled.

Kitchen

​

  • You are welcome to enjoy any food in the pantry or fridge.

  • Please use oven bags if you want to make a roast.

  • We have many appliances and gizmos. Just look around or ask. 

  • Oven bags, sewing kit, etc are in the top drawer near oven. 

  • Please keep the bench top dry 

  • Device manuals in kitchen or bookcase drawer

Expressi Coffee Machine & Milk Frother

​

  • Empty pods often to prevent the door jamming.

  • There are supplies of pods in the pantry. You can buy more from Aldi.

​

  • The display is faded but the dial functions are as follow 1-Cooking with eco-fan, 2- Turbo slow cooking, 3- Turbo cooking, 4- Fan assisted bottom/top heating, 5-Top and bottom heating

TV

​​

  • It’s a Smart TV, the instructions are in drawer of the book cabinet. You can also plug in your iphone or ipad using the hdmi cable.  Please tell the kids it is not a touch screen.

Air Conditioners 

 

The controls are on the wall near the door or microwave. Please ensure the windows and doors are closed and turn off when going out.

 

Spares 

 

  • Spare sheets in bottom of bookcase in the living room. If you use these please wash and fold the soiled sheets or let us know.

  • Blankets are in the rooms or white robe.

  • Toilet paper is in the Laundry cupboard. 

  • Towels are in the dining room cupboard.​

  • Emergency toothpaste etc in bathroom cabinet

 
Barbecue
  • Please turn off the gas at the bottle and the barbecue. There is a spare gas tank, if required.

 
Outdoors
  • Please stay in the home yard and be mindful there might be cane toads and snakes in the area.

  • Sheds are off limits and please do not open any gates as cattle might get out.​

  • The ground may be uneven

Security Cameras
  • Only outside and only used when no one is staying at the house

​

Pool
  • It is a saltwater pool that is regularly inspected.

  • Pillows for the lounges and sun brolly are in the cupboard near the footsal table.

Fire & Floods
  • The house is well above flood level but Wyrallah road and front paddocks might get wet. See below for bushfire info.

In the unlikely event someone is bitten make sure they do not move a muscle, literally, as the poison travels through the lymphatic system. Ring 000 and wait for an ambulance to arrive. Do NOT try and catch the snake.
